Trip to Hollywood!



Our film was shown at the famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

I spent March 7-11th in Hollywood, LA (not to be mistaken with the other Hollywood) for the first time. The trip was both business and pleasure as I was apart of the Idle Entertainment crew (www.facebook.com/idleentertainment ) who were  representing Buffalo in the 48 Hour Film Festival. For such an exciting location and for such a thrilling event, I really don't have epic/Hangover-esq tales to tell. I can say that, despite being in a different environment, the group of Buffalonians did what they do best: Make friends and drink beer. (In no particular order.)

Pope Resigns: Vows to End Undertaker's Streak at Wrestlemania 29

As his papacy entered its final hours, Pope Benedict XVI admitted on Wednesday, Feb 27th, that his eight-year spell as head of the Roman Catholic church had had its "difficult moments." Benedict stressed that although he was resigning for lack of strength, his ties to the church would remain. "I do not abandon the cross, but remain in a new way near to the crucified Lord," he said, adding in separate remarks in English: "...I ask each of you to pray for strength, specifically on April 7th" It's of no coincidence that days after his remark, The Undertaker makes his return to RAW.

Dad Conversing With Grandma

Dad, early 60's, relaxing after a long day from work and Grandma (GMa) old, relaxing after NCIS marathon, sit at the dinner table. I, late 20's, ridiculously good looking in sweat pants, watch in observation. We are all conversing over a warm bowl of leftovers.

 

Dad

"WTF." Do you know what the means?

GMa

what?... I didn't catch that.

Dad

"WTF." Do you get it?

GMa

...... . ....

Dad

"W. T. F"

GMa

...I don't know what you're saying.

Dad
(laughing) Forget it. I'm leaving.

GMa

(upset) Well what the hell?!

Me

Getting warmer.

(laugh track)

Maria Menounos strips after losing Super Bowl bet; viewers wished for colder day.

Maria Menounos sports a teeny, Giants-themed bikini in between some other guys I don't care about.

Chauncey Billups out for season: It's about time.

Billups helped off the court. Projected to return after completing Gears of War 3.

CLEVELAND-  Chauncey Billups is out for the remainder year after an MRI on Tuesday confirmed a torn achilles tendon. "It's about damn time," Billups told reporters, "Basketball was really getting in the way of my down time."

Upon receiving the news, Billups proceeded home, where he immediately signed into his X Box live account. Billups said he is waiting for Tracy McGrady to play eight months of C.O.D.
