Four-Legged Chick Hatches

In unrelated news, KFC launches their 10 million dollar cloning program tomorrow.

PELAHATCHIE, MS -   A Rankin County woman says she discovered the fourth strangest thing found on her farm Sunday night. (See our "Jesus CowSpot" article in last May's edition)

Lucy the chicken hatched at 6 p.m., and Annette Bragg said she immediately knew something was different about her at 10 p.m. Lucy has four legs that are all normal size. Because of the placement of her legs, Lucy has not been able to walk, which is a big blow to the farm's "4-Legged Race" committee. They also determined Lucy to have a speech impediment, but "farmhands won't be talking about that." says Bragg.
Bragg speculates Lucy was meant to be a twin. *Others speculate a possible threeway in a nearby shut-down toxic waste plant.
Bragg raises chicks on her Pelahatchie farm and has more than 100. Bragg, a convenient last name for someone asked to talk about their prized-freak chicken.
"It sort of captured my heart," she said. "...also, ew."
When reached for additional comments, the cow goes "Moo."
